Make Your Monday: Labels

Today is the debut of a new kind of freebie.

Last weekend I helped throw a baby shower that was over the top, beautiful. Since the mamma of honor is allergic to cow's products, I had a good excuse to use labels for all the food. I wanted her to be able to navigate what was safe without asking awkward questions, AND they're gorgeous and I've always wanted to use some! Because I'd seen all the free printables on Pinterest, I thought it would be easy to find something I could quickly add my words to and print.

Not so, friends. I scrolled through images on Google for way too long, before creating some of my own on PicMonkey. Since I have grandiose ideas about how all people were created equal and should have a right to freely print cute food labels (or place cards), I'm sharing what I came up with here today.

The files for both shapes are picture files (jpeg) and you can open them in any photo editor, including PicMonkey, which is free and easy to use. For those of you who are as awesomely confused by techy stuff as I am, the only "editing" you're wanting to do is to add words. The files I'm offering are blank. Here they are:

Disclaimer: while the color looks crazy purpley-pink, it prints out a basic soft pink, like the pictures above.

I'd like to offer other colors, whatever might be most useful to people. Would you mind commenting with your input? If you have any events coming up that you're hosting, imagine what colors you'll be using and let me know. Maybe some brown-sugar-on-squash color for Thanksgiving?

There will be more label happiness around here in the future, so prepare yourselves. This is just the beginning! Because I love you...

P.S. In case you haven't noticed, I tweaked the categories at the top of the page - AGAIN. I know, I know...I just love reorganizing that much!
